Number of employees in industry drops

 

The number of employees in the industry has decreased by 4.1 percent in July 2010, compared with the same period last year, the State Statistical Office said.

Industrial employees index in the January-July period stands at 6.4 percent, while compared to 2005, the number of employees in industry has dropped by 14.9 percent.

Taking into consideration that the industrial output has increased in the past two months, this trend might increase.
